The Insurance School of the Central Valley's Life & Health Agent Pre-Licensing Course is broken into 10 Modules that are offered during the Day and Evening for student convenience. All Modules must be completed within six months of Registration & Enrollment; and must be completed in order to receive a Certificate of Completion as required by The State of California Department of Insurance.
The Insurance School of the Central Valley's Property & Casualty Broker/Agent Pre-Licensing Course is broken into 10 Modules that are offered during the Day and Evening for student convenience. All Modules must be completed within six months of Registration & Enrollment; and must be completed in order to receive a Certificate of Completion as required by The State of California Department of Insurance.
In order to become either a Property & Casualty Broker/Agent or a Life & Health Agent all Unlicensed Persons must complete their respective 40-hour live classroom instruction in a Pre-Licensing Course, as well as 12-hours of live classroom instruction in Code & Ethics. The 12-hours Parts A, B & C of classroom instruction must be completed within six months of Registration and must be completed in order to receive a Certificate of Completion as required by The State of California Department of Insurance.
The Insurance School of the Central Valley's Code & Ethics Course is broken into 3-four hour Parts: A, B, &C.
The Series 6/63 course is designed to prepare students for their exams for the Series 6 and Series 63 exams. The Series 6 license enables individuals to sell mutual funds and variable annuities. The Series 63 license enables individuals to solicit orders for any type of security.
We provide live Tutorial Cram Sessions for both Life and Health and Property and Casualty.
This course is designed to help students "review & prep" for the State Exam, which is not required, but highly recommended for a success on the State Exam. do not attend our classes but that need the live Tutorial/Cram information. Note: We have our Tutorial/Cram on our Schedule but when necessary we will additional sessions depending on demand, classroom and instructor availability.
Not every student needs the Live Tutorial/Cram Session, but it is an additional tool to get you over - the bar. We teach the test in the Tutorial/Cram.
The Insurance School of the Central Valley offers many Continuing Education Correspondence courses for your convenience. As a reminder, The State of California Department of Insurance requires Agents that have been licensed 4 years or less must complete 25 hours of continuing education units per year and Agents that have been licensed 5 or more years must complete 30 hours of continuing education units every 2 years.
In order to earn Continuing Education Units a score of 70% or better must be achieved. If a student does not achieve the required score of 70% or better, exams may be re-taken at no additional cost. We offer a 15% discount on all of our continuing education correspondence courses to Graduates of the Insurance School of the Central Valley.
The State of California Department of Insurance requires Agents that have been licensed 4 years or less to complete 25 hours of continuing education units per year and Agents that have been licensed 5 or more years must complete 30 hours of continuing education units every 2 years.
